| Spirit House is always seeking ways in which we can support those in our community and extended community. A new outreach project, the Prayer Shawl Ministry, has been established. If you knit or crochet and would like to gather in community, we invite you to join us in making Prayer Shawls and Chemotherapy Caps as part of your spiritual discipline. If you are not a knitter but would like to learn, no problem, there are several ‘seasoned’ knitters ready to teach newcomers! The prayer shawl ministry is now gathering with the Book Club as they spend the next year weaving their way through Paramahansa Yogananda's epic The Second Coming of Christ. Bring any yarn or other materials, nimble fingers and willing ears and mind! Come, knit and listen to the profound wisdom of Yogananda. Next two scheduled gatherings are:
